Account Executive

About The Role:

Award-winning pollination solutions startup building a sales team to support increased demand in almond production. Looking for progressive reps interested in an exciting future in FarmTech.

‍In 2017 BeeHero changed the game by creating Precision Pollination as a Service. We give our family of almond growers the best pollination possible by combining generations of commercial beekeeping experience with cutting-edge technology. We monitor our bees year-round with our SmartHive sensor technology to ensure exceptional quality and strength.

Based in California and operating globally, we manage the largest database of bees & pollination. We work with major almond farmers and industry groups.

‍We are hiring account managers to introduce the BeeHero Precision Pollination service to almond growers throughout the Central Valley of California. Account managers will develop new and maintain existing business. These positions will report directly to the vice president of sales.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships, educate growers, and support existing clients
  • Attend networking events and community events
  • Contact prospective customers by telephone, email, and in person
  • Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
  • Use CRM and admin software to track and onboard new prospects


Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience in almond agriculture practices
  • Work experience in Field Sales for 2 years or more
  • Possible experience as PCA, fertilizer sales, nursery tree sales, etc.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, startup environments
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Adept with new technology


Nice to have

  • Ag PCA license
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Ag Studies, Crop Science and Agribusiness
  • Owned, managed, or worked on an almond farm
